ARARAJUBA ONLUS
The name Ararajuba is inspired by the Brasilian parrot endengered of exctintion, which was chosen to become the representative symbol of Brasil. The Ararajuba Onlus was born in Udine in 2011, with the objective of intensifying and making stronger the relationships between Brasil and Italy. Our association aims to be a benchmark for all Italians passionate by Brasil and for those Brasilians who love Italy. In fact, the Ararajuba Onlus gives all necessary information to everyone who is interested in the culture and in the relationships between these two countries. Moreover the association offers several services in order to make these Italo-Brasilian links easier in every sphere (culture, diplomacy, commerce etc.). The Ararajuba Onlus provides listening services and it organizes seminars, language, dance (capoeira) and music courses, as well as a rich range of musical and socio-cultural events.
OUR MISSION
We think that in modern society the meeting between people can defeat intolerance, promote individual well-being and serve as foundation of a better condition of life for everybody, especially in this historical moment, in which existing conflicts undermine the concept of peaceful coexistence. The Ararajuba Onlus Association work so that dialogue and exchange between cultures will always be favoured, by providing information, facilitating meetings and discussions, and promoting an engagement in social activities.
OUR VISION
Thanks to the awareness of each of us, the Ararajuba Onlus Association believes that a better world is possible:

- active participation to preserve the environment and education to energy saving, because personal wellness can not be separated from that of the environmente
